Book Review Of Black Civil Rights In America

This book is a commanding introduction to the history of black civil rights in the U.S., it provides a comprehensive history of African American struggle for freedom from 1860-1990. The first five chapters encircle what might be seen as the traditional areas of African American studies and the last two chapters add future perception of African Americans.

You Smell Dead Book Review

Like a lot of people, the Harry Potter series introduced me (an adult) to the world of adolescent literature. While teens and pre-teens may be the target audience for this type of writing, it's obvious that it reaches a much broader audience that includes adults of all ages. With the end of the HP series, many of us are looking for alternatives. That's how I came across the Pretty Freekin' Scary series.

Effective Communication - Review of Dan Kehoe's Book "Management in Action" Series

Where do you find wisdom? People often feel they're wise and have wisdom they want to share-so how do you sort the wheat from the chaff? Good question. Wisdom's cousin is truth-lasting and proven. That is what I think readers of Dan Kehoe's Management in Action series find: wisdom; truth that lasts because it works reliably, and truth that will be around long after we're gone.
