An Angel in Clever Disguise

Today I met the most inspirational person I've ever met. He was not a motivational speaker, and he had no "rah rah" speech. His name was Larry. When he came into my store, my first impression of him could only be summed up in one word... gruff. He's tall, with multiple tattoos, and he spoke with a slow, intensely deep voice. I fully expected him to say, "You rang?" In the matter of an hour, not only did my perception of this amazing person change, but with it came the change in me.

The Need to Simplify

Simplify your life in order to better prepare yourself to achieve your dream in life. Life is a great adventure; don't bog your mind down with stuff that prevents you from thinking and reflecting on who you are and what you can achieve.

Once When I Was Big

As children we are encouraged to access our imagination, but as adults we are encouraged to deal with reality. Does that mean that as adults we turn our backs on reality and in fact deal with an illusion? Should we dream so that we can create our own reality?

Spiritual Fasting and the Demolition of Strongholds

For thousands of years religions worldwide have used the discipline of spiritual fasting as a means to pound on the doors of heaven for breakthrough. The concept is that fasting weakens the body and allows the spirit to become more awake and in control-therefore allowing it to receive God's power and direction. Overall, spiritual fasting centers on putting aside the domination of the flesh in favor of the spirit which, in essence, is the true source of power that can solve the problem or...

Philoshopical Wisdom Of The Universe

Ancient Indian people also have other interesting ideas about the universe. They start it in a civilization near Indus riverside, exactly at 3000BC. The civilization lives at Mohenjo-Daro or Harappa. This civilization believes that the Earth is flat. It stands on some giant elephants, which stand on the back of a giant turtle.

Forget Spring House Cleaning - Clean Your Life!

There's no reason why only the trees and flowers should sprout new growth this time of year. But how often do we feel more ripe and rotten rather than green and growing? Chances are you started the year with some fresh ideas, only to become caught in the same-old rat race that defeats any feeling of newness and adventure.

Asking For What You Really Want in Life

Last week I was busy going about my life. I am working on a project and if it works out, it could be a dream come true for me. My clients are just great and I feel very lucky to be part of their lives. I was starting to feel a little cocky that life was going pretty good. My compliant list wasn't too long. Just the usual stuff - no magic pill to dissolve the last ten pounds, frizzy hair (including my own in 107% humidity) should be outlawed and that if Paris Hilton gets another...
