There are a few things that sellers have to do if they want to have a successful eBay business. On the top of that list, may be the feedback that you get. If you treat your eBay business like an actual business, this will not be a problem. If you treat it like some kind of hobby like some people do the feedback is going to be reflective of that.

If there is one thing that buyers on eBay care more about than anything else, I would have to say it's that they want their package in a hurry. When somebody buys something from you, try to get it shipped out that very same day. I know sometimes that's just not a possibility, but do your best. Try to set a cutoff time. For instance if somebody purchases an item after 2:00 pm, then that will get shipped out the following day.

Answer emails as fast as you can. Nothing brings confidence to the buyer like a quickly replied email. When they see something like that, they know you treat this business professionally.

When you send out the package let them know the tracking number. It makes the buyer feel more confident, knowing they can check where the package is online.

Send them a little letter too with the package. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. It's just a small letter telling them how appreciative you are for their business. Tell them if you have any problems, to let you know about them and you will do the best you can to remedy the situation. Also, let them know if they are satisfied with the transaction, you would appreciate positive feedback.

This is a great way to remind them because many people just forget.

Feedback is just one of the many keys to a successful eBay business. If you are getting a lot of positive feedback, you know you are doing something right.
