When somebody buys something from you, try to get it shipped out that very same day. I know sometimes that's just not a possibility, but do your best. Try to set a cutoff time. For instance if somebody purchases an item after 2:00 pm, then that will get shipped out the following day.
Answer emails as fast as you can. Nothing brings confidence to the buyer like a quickly replied email. When they see something like that, they know you treat this business professionally.
When you send out the package let them know the tracking number. It makes the buyer feel more confident, knowing they can check where the package is online.
Send them a little letter too with the package. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. It's just a small letter telling them how appreciative you are for their business. Tell them if you have any problems, to let you know about them and you will do the best you can to remedy the situation. Also, let them know if they are satisfied with the transaction, you would appreciate positive feedback.
This is a great way to remind them because many people just forget.
