How many times have you thought of someone you know, and within minutes the phone rings or
the door bell sounds and the person you were thinking of is on the other line or at the
door? Most people would call this a coincidence. I do not think so. This is a world
which scientifically is based on mathematical precision. In mathematics there are no
coincidences. 2 plus 2 is four not by coincidence. I have had the door bell ring or
the phone, in the same way you have. It happens.
The Persian Prophet and mystic Baha'u'llah has stated that we should be so orientated as
to be "as one soul in many bodies." This can be possible only if we are truly
interconnected. In the same way as thinking about someone, someone calls. Many people have recounted the feeling of foreboding that came over them a few days or weeks before 911. If we are closely related by love, our sense of unity with another becomes much stronger. Many have heard or experienced the sense of something important happening to a loved one before or as it was happening. The classic example of sensing something that is not coincidental is the feeling someone is watching you from behind, and turning around and discovering someone staring at you.
In a metaphysical sense there is a connection between all things. There is no I and you,
but only us. The Hindu conception of the unity of all beings is what we are speaking
about. We are all atoms and sub-atomic particles, the vibration of these atoms and
particles makes for differentiation to our senses. Again, from Baha'u'llah the Persian
Seer, He states God that God took a drop from the Ocean of the Consciousness and made it a
living being. In other words, we all come from one source and were originally one thing, but God has seen fit to differentiate us into separate consciousness. Yet we are still
connected to that Ocean in a very real way and are or can be in unity with each other.
The whole Universe is vibrating, and it is the rate of vibration of objects within this
universe that cause things to be perceived as different. Different things vibrate at
different speeds, but if we can attune ourselves to those vibrations we desire to copy and
emulate, we can with others become connected in unity. After all everything that exists is
some form of energy, matter is simply a more dense and coalesced energy than sunlight.
Each vibrates at its own level. Each is subject to mathematical laws, so that what comes
into your life, the things that happen that appear coincidental, are mathematical and
precise.
