As soon as Isaiah acknowledged his sin, he was forgiven, and within minutes he received a purpose for his life’s work. Isaiah had an amazing confrontation with the living God in the Temple in Jerusalem on the occasion of the death of King Uzziah. He came into the Temple sad, confused, bewildered, upset – perhaps even perplexed.

The best place to go when experiencing such emotions is The House of God, and come into the presence of God. Isaiah knew where to go and what to do. He was no crank.
His guilt was dealt with, in a few seconds.

How many need to be released, set free, and delivered from guilt?

It need not take long, nor need it be a struggle.

The blood of Jesus Christ deals with sin and guilt and a whole lot more. That is good news for anyone who feels trapped, thinking there is no way out. Isaiah hears the voice of God asking, “Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?” and Isaiah replies, “Here am I. Send me.”

He responded immediately and positively. Nothing was done hidden in some secret corner. Isaiah and God are open regarding what was happening.

This is Isaiah’s personal testimony. It kept him going when he had to walk through deep dark valleys, and they are still around, in abundance.

When the call of God is upon your life you can patiently go through dry barren arid wildernesses, just like Jesus, after He was baptised in water and anointed with the Holy Spirit.

For 2,000 years Jesus Christ has been calling men and women. It may not always be as dramatic as Isaiah’s, but it will be just as real, and that is what is important.
