Why Is The FTC So Inept Over Oil Prices - Can't They Do Anything Right?

The FTC goes after companies due to competitor complaints that originate via a Senator who has taken a campaign contribution, very convenient. Then when it comes to protecting the consumer the FTC fails on all accounts. SPAM increased by 4600% since the FTC took on the task, and in the first six months the FTC could not even come up with a definition of what SPAM was?

Prejudice Black-White - Any Difference

I have been following the primaries, exit polls and opinions closely. I want to state upfront that I am not a Clinton supporter, I happened to have voted for Senator Obama in my state primary. That being said, I am curious as to why when in state after state, Senator Clinton captures around 60% of the white vote and then states she has a better chance of winning the general election because of that percentage and there is an uproar?

The American Psyche

After a year of bad news on the home sales front, there does not seem to be any relief in sight. In many areas of the country, local real estate boards and attorneys are proclaiming the light at the end of the tunnel. I am not sure that I agree. The fundamentals have not yet come into balance in order for markets to stabilize.

To Be Or Not To Be - Is Homosexuality A Choice?

To those of you who expected a religious or scientific debate on this matter, I hate to disappoint you. I'm not going to approach this subject from either a religious or scientific point of view. Instead I am going to discuss this sensitive topic and draw from the best possible resource at my disposal - my own personal experience. In writing this essay, I knew that I couldn't base my article merely on statistical information, scientific jargon or religious doctrine. I knew that I...

Why Obama is Right to Want Talks With Iran

Many have condemned Obama for proposing talks with Iran; yet just prior to the Afghanistan war Britain had talks with Iran which led to distinct advantages for Bush and the US led alliance. Diplomacy with Iran can and has worked and is the best way to get Iran not produce nuclear weapons.

Slavery Thrives in America

In America today we pay so much in taxes that the Government owns us. It is very much like being a slave. Taxes and slavery in modern day America exist side by side.
