May 10th was Election Day for one million Sri Lankan people eligible to vote in the eastern district of Batticaloa. Before this day, the polls in this area remained closed for 20 years. You Cannot Reduce Crime by Changing Outside Support Systems!

Demonetizing $100 and $50 bills will not trigger criminal changes. Crime is a way of thinking that justifies harming others to gain for self; therefore, the only way to reduce crime is to help criminals make the arduous trek from crime to contribution.

Crime Statistics - Developing a Model Of Personal Safety - Part 2

Crime statistics are worthy of discussion. The greater understanding we have of the subject, the more informed we are when making decisions that may affect our personal safety. Violence in the US - The Big Picture

Early one morning I sat behind a large truck at a stoplight in a major urban business district and found myself thinking about the truck exploding. I looked around at the sidewalks full of people hustling to work and the streets crowded with vehicles in the early morning rush hour. I observed two tall buildings on either side of the street; one appeared to have an almost complete glass exterior. I estimated that if the truck did explode, the resulting damage and loss of life...

District Attorney Offices Not Serving Justice?

We have all heard about District Attorney Offices and Officials working hard to prosecute cases even when they knew they were not good cases, in order to keep their prosecution rations high. Why? In order to further their political power and look as if they are doing their job; of course, this is not justice, this is ego making a mockery out of the system.
