Who Am I? Why Am I Here? What is this Reality Really All About? How Did All This Come To Be?

Who has not asked themselves these questions? Where are the answers? Science claims one truth, Religions another, while Philosophy, and even Mythology seem to cover every other alternative. Where's the truth then? It resides in each and every one of us, with all the proof we need. Why haven't we realized this? Because it is disguised to us, in the form of illusion.

Choices Make Ripples

The brilliance of Einstein, to me, is most pronounced with his theory, "For every action, there is an equal, opposite reaction." The series of events, followed by choices, creating other options and alternatives fascinates me. The seemingly meaningless act of turning left instead of right could change the course of history.

Albert Einstein and Isaac Newton

Many people would remember Albert Einstein as one of the major contributors in making first the destructive atomic bomb. His equations E=mc² has caused the death of many innocent lives. But let's know him even better not as a scientist who has contributed a lot to science rather as a simple and ordinary man

The Post Quantum God

The scientific objectivity is allowed only to a particular level of existence. Beyond it the objectivity is barred. This article tells how to proceed there in that domain.

Sufism - The Path of Love

The word Sufi is derived from the Greek "Sophia", meaning Wisdom. It is known as Tasawwuf (Mysticism) in Arabic, and is considered by scholars as the mystical, the inner or psycho-spiritual aspect of Philosophia Islamica. The great scholar, Seyyed Hossein Nasr, considered Sufism as the esoteric dimension of Al Islam.

The Superultramodern Quotations 3

The NSTP theory converts the narrow possibility of truth in the proposition - anything that is logically possible is empirically possible - into a healthy probability. In Christianity there is divine race - in Hinduism there are divine races. The Indian president plays politics with his entire family - the American president plays politics with the entire humanity.

Who is the Biggest - Me, My Mind or My God?

This is a question people generally ask. They want to know the hierarchy; they want to know their position in the hierarchy so that they become satisfied. They ask because they are not satisfied with what they know about it. They want either to repel the inconvenient part of their knowledge or they want a support to the convenient portion of their fumbling knowledge. But they want to know.

The World Needs A New Spirituality In The New Global Village - Part 5

Financial Credit facilities have mushroomed across the globe over the last 50 years, resulting in the escalation of personal debt, insolvency and the subsequent personal misery this causes. In this article the author would argue that the whole concept of credit actually works against the basic human condition.

Notes on Wittgenstein's Blue Book

The following is a transposed and modified version of the notes I took on Wittgenstein's Blue Book while researching for my senior thesis. My senior thesis was on intentionality--in particular, theories of mental content--so there are some interpretations of the text that are motivated by my research into that area of philosophy of language.

The Truth About Truth - Pragmatic Thinking and You

We all believe some things to be true in all areas of life, from politics to religion. Being the amateur "thinking scientist" that I am, I strive to know what is true. Not only is it important for me to know what is true, but what is false, and even if something be true or not, is there any real benefit in my life if it is true?
