Let's Go Salsa Dancing!

Whenever I think about dancing, I tend to think of salsa dancing with all of it's rhythms and movement. Many people think that salsa dancing looks difficult, but like any other type of dancing, it can be learned and mastered with a certain degree of dedication and repetition. Perhaps one of the most intriguing things about this type of dancing is the fact that it is somewhat spontaneous and almost looks improvised at different points.

Getting Married at the Shaw Festival (A Review)

Performances of George Bernard Shaw don't get much sharper than the Shaw Festival's 2008 production of Getting Married. This show kept an embarrassing grin on my face for more than two solid hours, the first time something like that has happened since last year's The Philanderer. Only a repertory ensemble whose members have spent as much time with each other and with Shaw as these have, could do a show like this so well.

Dancing is Harder Than You Think!

When you tell people that you are a 'dancer', they will often be polite and cordial about it. However, behind your back, they might 'pooh-pooh' it, thinking that it's not such a big deal. There are plenty of people out there who simply do not take dancing seriously. When it comes to dancing, it is often treated as it would be if you told someone that you were an 'artist' or an 'actor'.

Learn How to Do Magic Tricks

Street magic is performed, as the name suggests, on the street. The audience consists primarily of random passers-by who would stop to watch you perform. It is rather new compared to the stage variety of magic.
