Wth that said, there are some spcific questions you should answer before strting your business. This list is by no mans a complete, comprehensive all-encompassing checklist, but it wll give you a good starting plce.

What type of business to strt?

1) Do I have any knwledge in this area?

2) What skll do I have to run ths business?

3) Is this something tht I will enjoy doing?

4) How mch will it cost to start?

5) Do I hve the money this would require?

6) Is thre a market for this product/service?

7) How wll I promote my business?

8) Am I wlling to put in the effort to mke it work?

9) Am I ddicated enough to “stick with it”?

10) How mch income will this business have to crate?

11) How big do I wnt this business to become?

12) Wht are the tax implications of wning a business?

13) Are there any rgulations (federal/state/local) that I need to be ware of?

14) Am I capable of ding the bookkeeping required or do I ned to hire out?

15) What typ of insurance will be required?

Of course, some of these questions can only be answered by you. Be honest with yourself. A successful home business is a wonderful thing, but a failed business can be a hard pill to swallow. Honestly answering these questions (and others) will help direct you on the path to success.
