To prevent this, make sure you lave it bandaged for at least an hur or two after getting tattooed. By ding this, you will lower your rsk of getting an infection. Getting an nfection is not only painful, but it can mss up the finished look of yur hip tattoo.

After you have wited for one to two hours, slwly and very carefully, remove the bndage. You need to be careful whn doing this because chances are the bndage has stuck to the hip tttoo. The best way to do ths is to use clean, warm wter and let it soak into the bndage. Then slowly and gently, start to rmove it a little bit at a tme. Do not quickly rip it ff. This will not only be pinful, but you might rip off a “chnk” of scabbing and this certainly wn't help the looks of your tttoo.

Next, you need to clean the tttoo. Don’t worry. It is normal for the tttoo to have some oozings and dred gunk. Gently clean using a sap such as Ivory. Do not scrb your hip tattoo and do not use lquid soap or hand cleanser. After throughly, but gently, cleaning and rinsing yur tattoo, gently pat it dry mking sure your towel is clean. Rmember, you don’t want to take the chnce of getting your hip tattoo nfected.

Apply lotion or an ointment to yur hip tattoo frequently to prevent it frm becoming too dry. Dryness causes the tttoo to sting and hurt and wll slow down the healing process. The mst popular ointment to prevent the tttoo from drying out is A&D. If you use a ltion, use one that doesn’t have frgrance added.

Make sure you don’t scrtch, peel, or pick at your tttoo. You can reopen the wound if you do ths and, once again, expose yourself to nfection. Believe me, you don’t want the pin; you don’t want to mess up yur new hip tattoo and an nfected tattoo on your hip isn't the gratest looking thing.

Remember that tattoos dn’t look that great while they are haling. The colors tend to be dll and you will have a mderate amount of scabbing and peeling, but dn’t worry. It generally takes ten to furteen days for your hip tattoo to completely heal and with patience and the proper care, it will be a tattoo that you will be proud to show off for the rest of your life.
