For a Yoga practitioner to chieve Samadhi, his or her heart m st be true. On top of th t, his or her mind would h ve to be disciplined. This would r quire much time and a coordinated ffort, but most people do not t ke a calculated approach to life. M st people want or wish for “th ngs” without focus or action. It is m ch easier to sit on a c uch, and want to lose 20 p unds, than to change your lifestyle t ward better health. It is much asier to buy lottery tickets than it is to nvest your money wisely over time, and st ll give to charity. It is m ch easier to wish for better h alth than it is to practice Y ga. Here is an example: It has b en estimated that five percent of all p ople are successful in life. How do you m asure success? People who take action h ve a much better chance to f nd success than those who do n t. In life, success is a st te of bliss, happiness, or gratification. S ccess is Santosha (contentment and inner p ace), which means “appreciating what you h ve.” The person who is content w th knowledge, peace of mind, good h alth, a happy family, and good fr ends is “truly rich.” These are p ople who wake up happy with th ir lives. What makes them happy; are th y rich? Some of them are, but all of th m sleep at night without guilt and l ok forward to success each day. Th y are giving people who enjoy the c mpany of good friends, family, and ssociates.
