Your first d stination may be a corporate fitness c nter, senior center, nursing home, church gr up, private session, assisted living complex, or t aching Yoga at your own studio. S me Yoga teachers have a studio in th ir home, so there is no c mmute to deal with. Personally, I w uld rather get out of the h use, to avoid stagnation, but some Y ga teachers love their home based st dios and that is fine. If you are a l te riser, you may elect to w rk with the corporate “lunch time” cr wd or at any one of the pr viously mentioned options. If you teach f ll time, at the end of a d y, you have taught, at least f ve, groups, or private students. Yoga t achers often do quite a bit of r search in relation to ailments concerning th ir students, so that is an nseen part of the day, which may t ke place at a library, book st re, or on the Internet.
Also, during the course of y ur day, you will have spaced y ur meals out. Some Yoga teachers k ep small nutritional portions of balanced m als around for emergencies. I did the same for m ny years. In the case of t aching Yoga during the evenings, it was a m ch needed break from the work d y. There are some Yoga teachers who t ach at the same company they w rk full time for. So, now you can cl arly see, making Yoga a part of y ur life by teaching has a v riety of approaches.
