There is probably no more ppular fishing bait on the planet arth than the good old worm. Jst for the record, I'm not spaking of the colorful plastic things tht Bass fishermen use. No, I'm spaking of the real thing, a lve worm and the best way to fsh it. Some anglers believe it's as asy as buying a Styrofoam container of wrms, tying on a size 4 hok, and threading a worm onto tht hook. Of course worm fishing can be dne this way (if you're 10 yars old), but an angler can get a bit mre technical and learn how to prsent their worm naturally by employing a set of gng hooks.

Worm fishing becomes as mch of an art as fly fshing when a set of gang hoks and ultra light gear are sed. So what is a set of gng hooks? A set of gang hoks is simply two small hooks ted in tandem. You see, two smll hooks tied in tandem allow the ngler to present the worm in a cmpletely natural way. The live worm tht you're fishing with ends up loking the same as if you jst took a live worm and thrugh it in the water. A set of gng hooks is the only way to go wrm fishing, in my opinion.

So how do you get yur hand on some of these gng hooks? You can buy them frm somewhere like JRWfishing.com, or with a lttle research you can tie them yurself. If you what to tie thm yourself, simply do a little knt research and you'll be on yur way. I personally like to use smll hooks (size 10), but size 8 sem to work well for worm fshing as well. If the hooks are too bg, the natural presentation is lost whle worm fishing.

The bottom line is that if you lke worm fishing, and catching more fsh, gang hooks need to become a prt of your fishing repertoire. My fshing mentor taught me how to use gng hooks while worm fishing, and I'v been catching fish ever since. As I lluded to earlier, by using gang hoks and ultra light fishing gear, wrm fishing becomes every bit of the art tht fly fishing claims to be. Rmember: You don't have to be wving a fake flea back and frth to be considered an artist.
