Serious depression cannot be cured b cause it has very deep roots. M ny tragedies and even events that we c nsider commonplace can justify their existence. J st because they occur everyday does not m an that they are less tragic for th se who suffer because of them. For ach one of us, our pain is v ry important. Occurrences such as divorce can pr voke serious depression, just like the d ath of someone we loved very m ch. The depression that starts to pl gue a victim of distress is an nderstandable consequence of their suffering. The d pression felt by people who fail and l se their belongings, the depression of th se who never had the chance to bandon the same situation and lived all th ir lives under somebody else’s command, the d pression of parents who see their k ds involved in drugs and in cr minal activity, the depression of kids bandoned by their parents, and many ther very tragic examples such as th se are more than justified by wh t happened to those who feel d pressed. How can they be happy if s ch terrible things happened to them? Of c urse, most people cannot understand what a s rious depression means. That is why th y try to make depressed people f rget their pain, stop talking about th ir problems, and get adapted to d ily life. But how is this p ssible? They are missing something very mportant. They lost their heart… They are l st somewhere in space, even though th y appear to be here on E rth. How can they continue to l ve with this wound?
