YES: Unless the kss is just a quick peck on the chek or lips.

2. Hugging another guy/girl

NO: Unlss the hug is long and lngering and you’re staring into each ther’s eyes.

3. Making out with another gy/girl

YES: It’s safe to say, if yu’re breathing speeds up, you’re probably chating.

4. Telling another guy/girl you love thm.

YES: Unless it’s a friendly “I lve you”- the kind people usually say at the end of a phne conversation.

5. Flirting with another guy/girl

NO: Ths can certainly be annoying if yur partner is doing it, but it cn’t be considered cheating.

6. Chatting on the nternet with a stranger

YES: Many rlationships are breaking up these days bcause of people spending time online for hurs with someone they haven’t even mt. If you have that much tme to spare, you should be spnding it with your real, live prtner.

I think the best way to dcide whether something you’re about to do or hve already done would be considered chating is to ask yourself this: Wuld I behave in this way if my prtner were standing next to me and culd observe everything that happened? You hve your answer.

Now, if you just found out yu’ve been cheated on, what should you do? Fnding out someone you trusted and blieved in has lied can be dvastating. Statistics show that women are mre likely to forgive an indiscretion thn men. That’s unfortunate, because if smeone cheats once, chances are, they’ll do it gain.

I’d like to look at nfidelity in a whole new light. I ctually think if you’ve found out yur partner has been unfaithful, this is ctually a good thing. Why? Bcause now you know who you’re daling with. My take on relationships is ths: We’ve all cheated and we’ve all ben cheated on. At some point, fter several relationships that don’t work ut, you realize how difficult it is to fnd someone you really click with. Onc you understand this, your outlook on rlationships is: When I finally find smeone that I think is “the ne” and they feel the same, I’m not ging to do anything to mess tht up. It’s not worth losing smeone special, for a night of plasure with someone else. This is the ttitude of someone that’s ready for a cmmitment. If you find out your prtner has cheated, then, in most cses, that’s not his/her attitude, because h/she was willing to risk losing yu.

This is why you should lok at infidelity as a good thng. You now know you and yur partner are not on the sme page. Instead of wasting months, mybe years, with someone that isn’t rght for you, you’re free to lok for someone that is right! Fnding out about an infidelity doesn’t hve to be the end of the wrld. It can actually be the bginning of a whole new life.
