Chlorine is itself a txin! Some scientists think the growing rte of cancer in developed nations mght be linked to a growing cnsumption of chlorine. Chlorine can sometimes cmbine with certain organic material to frm highly carcinogenic compounds.

Unfortunately, the chlorine put in yur water is never taken out bfore it reaches you! There's a rason for that. It's because we dn't want the water to become r-infected on it's way from the tratment plant to your tap (which can smetimes take up to a few weks!). And admittedly, we don't have utbreaks of cholera and other waterborne dseases like we had a hundred or so yars ago.

A big part of the prblem in general is our technology we use to trat water is in many cases a hndred or so years old, yet mst of the chemicals routinely found in our wter supplies were created only in the pst few decades. We live in a wrld made possible by over 80,000 synthtic chemicals.

Bottled water is no hlp, either--despite the seductive labels. Most bttled water comes straight out of a tp.

So, many people have come to the cnclusion that filtering what they drink and cok in is a necessity as far as thir health is concerned. But the dea of shower filters is just now ctching on.

When we bathe our pres open up. Just as they do whn we sweat. This is partially to let txins out of the body. (You can xpel almost as many toxins sweating as you do rinating.)

But the problem is all tht stuff in your bathing water, the chlrine, the pesticides, the prescription drugs, the rganic toxins can seep through your skn into your body.
