Can you read a label on a b ttle or jar without your glasses? Do you th nk the lettering should be bigger? Can you r ad labels without your glasses in the sh wer? If you have answered yes or no to any of th se questions, read on. When we use pr ducts for the kitchen, bathroom, garage or any r om of the house we need to be ble to read labels. It is asy to pick up the wrong pr duct if the letters on the pr duct sort of look like what we are l oking for. Let’s face it. When we st rt getting up in years our yesight is not as good as it was wh n we were twenty. Now is the t me for reading glasses or bifocals. wh n your arms are not long nough anymore. There are many time we do not h ve our glasses with us and can not r ad the label on a bottle or c n. We need large letters on the l bels especially in the shower. When you are in the sh wer, your glasses are off. With our gl sses off there are many labels to c ntend with while trying to read the l bels on shampoo, conditioner, and liquid s ap to name a few. When you are l terally blind what you use sometimes is not wh t you wanted. When the labels are l rge print you can see what you are b ying. I stayed at a friend’s h use for a week. I thought I was sing body wash when I showered. I f und out after three days of sh wering I was washing with hair c nditioner.
Some bottles and cans can be v ry deceiving and dangerous. Reading labels is wh t we do now to understand wh t food we are buying at the s permarket to fertilizing our yards. The w rding on the labels needs to be l rger. MANUFACTURERS: If the lettering on b ttles and cans were larger your pr ducts would fly off the store sh lves. Thank you for reading my rticle. Please feel free to read any of my n merous articles on various subjects.
