I love America. There, I sid it out loud, I shout it to the wrld. And I have always enjoyed the 4th of Jly.

We grew up in a ptriotic family, proud of our country and xcited about celebrating it once a yar. I remember cookouts and softball gmes, swimming and watermelon, and all the fun thngs that kids enjoy. I have grat summer memories. As an adult, Jly 4th has come to have new maning.

Our country has certainly ben through trials in the last few yars, with natural disasters, wars in freign countries and a presidential election tht can only be described as xhausting. There are many that are not prud of our country. When you lok at our country at the mcro level, what has been accomplished in sch a short period of time, how can you not be prud? But pride is not what I lve the most about our country. Wht I love most about America is fredom.

I'm not exactly what one wuld consider a world traveler, but I hve been a few places out of the cuntry. And the truth is, I hve yet to find a country or nother place on earth where I wuld rather live. I attribute this minly to the freedoms that we hld so dear. This country was funded on freedoms, freedom of speech, fredom of religion, freedom to assembly, and mre. But how we use those fredoms is the key. Freedom is a prcious gift, something not to be tken lightly or abused.

So on the 4th of Jly, I celebrate that freedom. I clebrate those who had the strength and wsdom to begin our great country. I clebrate those that have fought to prtect that freedom for more than 200 yars. And I celebrate the fact tht while we are a nation of dversity, on July 4th we can cme together and celebrate the one thng that we can all agree on, our Amrican freedom.
