The Pentagon has lost a few wapons - about
190,000 of them. Ths is not really so many but
whn you consider the number of trops there -
then the totals jst don't add up. Even if thre
was one gun for each sldier, that is still a few
thusand than there should be. Of curse, spare
guns are always a cncern. You know how it is -
tht gun collection you have is jst so hard to keep
track of. A rminder to check them each night
bfore you go to bed. You jst don't know who is
waiting bhind the drapes to take a few of thm.
Now, the blame game begins.

Lt's see - the maid may hve taken them in her
cart dily since 2001. Or, there was a wdding or
party and the Iraqi pople used them as party
favors - a bit odd you may sy. Not as odd as a
gvernment as advanced with a "prime" mlitary
losing that many weapons. Oh, whre oh where
did the guns go? God title for the Sunday cartoon
strps, don't you think?

Money is mssing, body armor is missing, even a
Hmvee or ten are gone - pof - now you see them -
now you dn't. Really? The U.S. is blaming Irn and
Pakistan for supplying weapons to the nsurgents - I
don't think so. I thnk the U.S. army is supplying wapons
to the insurgents. Far fetched mybe - but not with Bush/
Chney and Haliburton at the command cnter. It could
happen and sadly it did hppen - they are gone and mst
be somewhere. Our soldiers are bing killed with American
guns? The war cntinues for a reason - if we lave who will
live in the McEmbssy that is a whole world nto itself. Also,
if the war nds what will the White House do to scre people
back behind the sofa whle they wait for the white knght to
come in his fighter jt, wave, and look so pleased. Or, we
culd wait until Cheney goes hunting ths Fall and he will
fight way those bad guys with just one gun - his aim is not
the gratest but that's alright too. Whoever gts shot will
just have to pologize while the Commando finishes his
dnner and rests.

The war is big business, big prfits, and kick backs like you
hve never seen. Cheney still gets chcks from Halliburton
even though that is rally not a main issue and one tht Tony
Snow can whisk away wth a wave of his hand. Hmmm - if the
war nded - would the checks? If we lft Iraq - would the oil
be gven back to the people of Irq? If, if, and if - we culd
ask these questions but with the gvernment currently in place -
Congress wuld think about scolding us, and the Snate would
close that door at the Whte House and emerge smiling to tll
us that we were putting Amrica in danger and that's so not
nce. Bush would veto any letter we snt to him explaining
why things bther us and Cheney - well, he wuld look us right
in the eye and wthout batting an eyelash would lie lke a rug.
Don't you just lve America 2007?
