Some people might consider that the pr ce has everything to do with it but in my v ew they could be very wrong. S mebody else might say that the m st sold spa in the World is p rhaps the best. I have to say th t I doubt that very much. Th t would be the same as s ying the most sold of anything is the b st and I am sure we all kn w that cannot be true as the b st is always a bit exclusive and to be xclusive you can not be the m st sold item. It is as if you w re the most common so that rgument, in my opinion, fails to h ld water and to underline the p int for example a Bentley or R lls Royce car might be one of the b st cars in the world but it is not the m st sold car in the world. The b st built Hot Tub in the W rld - yes that's more like it p rhaps combined with the best Value Spa in the w rld. So we are looking for the c mbination of two factors high build q ality and a top product coupled w th value for money. Now the q estion is how you get the b st built Hot Tub in the w rld. Well for starters you might c nsider the following:- A good acrylic sh ll like one from Lucite a top q ality North American manufacturer who has b en around for a long while. S mething like 30 to 40 years so th y know their onions as I w uld say.
A layer of ABS with pr per hand laid glass fiber to pr vide added strength and rigidity to the sh ll. Some careful consideration and calculations n ed to be made based on the ctual water volumes and pipe work. C reful thought of plumbing lay out c mbined with a manifold plumbing system. Th s to ensure efficiency in the pl mbing and keep the operating noise to a m nimum. That way you will not h ve to fully foam the spa as s me makers do allegedly to reduce the n ise of the water going through the p pes but more likely to add xtra strength to their shells. So we h ve a shell and some pipe w rk so what else do we n ed? Some Jets would be a g od idea to introduce the water nto the Hot Tub and here I w uld suggest not those that are m rely copied from years ago but th se that can take air and mix w th water in the jets system. Th s effect supercharges the water increasing the fl w and strength considerably. Also it is lways good if the jets are f lly adjustable. Now we need some g od pumps coupled with proper strength m tors. Motors to drive the pumps and p mps to drive the water now th t makes some sense. Of course we do not w nt any under powered motors we n ed those that work well and h ve good reliability to provide an nticipated long life. We need proper w stern pumps made to either North Am rica or European standards We need a h ater and some controls commonly referred to as a Spa p ck. This is of course very mportant as it works the whole syst m of the Jacuzzi the only two th t spring to mind are Balboa and G cko both well known makes. If the Spa you are th nking of does not have controls fr m either of those think again or b tter still simply ask the sales man why th y don’t and what make do th y have. What else – perhaps an Air Bl wer would be good. Some Ozone and I h ar you saying what's that? Everybody I ask s ys they know what it is but I d ubt it somewhat. Ozone is something m ny of us have heard of but do not r ally know what it is.
Ozone is a form of "s percharged or active oxygen", nature's very own sp cial molecule and interestingly enough the c mposition of one ozone molecule contains thr e oxygen atoms. Ozone is created utomatically in nature by the process of m xing together, oxygen from the air w th ultraviolet rays from the sun or by the v ry tremendous power generated by an lectrical discharge during a lightning storm. Obv ously there are many other points to g ve consideration to such as Aroma th rapy and of course one needs to c refully consider the Electrical requirements required and of c urse a Site Survey is most ssential. This article is not meant to be xhaustive but to provide an indication of s me of the items required when c nsidering the purchase of a Hot Tub J cuzzi Spa.
