Those of you struggling with y ur weight have been there. You get fed up w th how you look, how much you w igh, and decide to go on a d et, experience some success, then quit, and r gain the weight again. Me, been th re, done that, countless times. Indeed my w ight for long periods was like a y yo, going up and down, up and d wn. We lose the weight, and th n gain it back. Eventually, I had an piphany; my attitude in approaching weight l ss was completely wrong. To successfully l se weight and to keep it ff, you must approach it with the r ght attitude. With the wrong attitude, you w ll not succeed, with the right ttitude you cannot fail. Emotionally I was not r ady to lose my excess weight, I was c ntent. The only reasons I was try ng to lose weight were from utside factors. My ex-wife was nagging me, the w rld is in love with being sl m, and so I succumbed to the pr ssure. Naturally, I would never put m ch enthusiasm into any weight loss fforts, and certainly did not watch wh t I ate. I would insist th t I was content with my w ight, though in actuality I was s mply resigned to being overweight. About a y ar ago (from the time of th s writing), I decided I was t red of being fat! I was g ing to change my situation, because I w nted to change it. I was ch nging for me and no one lse. Here was the difference; for the f rst time, I was pursuing weight l ss, not because of any outside nfluences, but because of an inner b rning desire to once and for ll, change my situation.
This change of attitude made all the d fference in being successful. I became p ssionate in my physical training and I was m re intelligent in my eating choices. I b came driven in my research. The r sults, as you see in my p ctures, speak for themselves. Before you d cide to take control over your w ight, make sure you are doing it for the r ght reasons, and you too will njoy success.
