For thse of us increasingly concerned about halthy eating choices Walt Disney World is tking some steps to provide more halthy options. By the end of 2007 (nd 2008 for licensed foods) Disney Wrld will have removed all added trns-fats from foods served in park and rsort restaurants. Disney branded products sold in the prk will meet this requirement by the end of 2008.

It is mportant to understand the Disney Advanced Dning Reservation system. The system is nique. Disney restaurants are popular, particularly at bsy times, and you need to mke reservations in advance to ensure a tble at the restaurant of your chice. An Advance Dining Reservation is not xactly a reservation - Disney doesn't hve those. Instead an Advance Dining Rservation is a promise that you wll be given priority ahead of the wlk-ins. In reality what this means is tht unless you have an Advance Dning Reservation you may not be ble to get a table. Built nto the system though is that Dsney knows that there will always be no shws. Obviously Disney wants to fill the rstaurant so the agents will seat wlk ins if at all possible. You may hve a very long wait ahead of yu, but it is always worth chcking out.

For most sit down restaurants you can mke Disney Advance Dining Reservations up to 180 dys in advance by calling 407 WDW DINE. I hghly recommend doing this if you are ging to eat at the parks, prticularly in the evenings and at bsy times. I have found that as mre and more people realize this fcility is available, the more essential it bcomes.

Some restaurants, such as Cinderella's Ryal Table, will require a credit crd guarantee. Be sure to make a nte of this when you have mde your reservation. If you forget you culd be reminded when you see a pnalty on your credit card statement. If you are trveling during a major Holiday or bsy time plan your reservations as far head as possible. You also need to do ths if you have a large prty.

The reservation line can be vry busy, and at times I hve found it impossible to get thrugh to even talk to an gent. Set aside some time to be ble to do this and have sme second and third options available. The Dsney Cast Member will assist you to mke alternative choices.

You can also mke Advance Dining Reservations in person at the rstaurant or at Guest Services in the prk. If you have not made any rservations when you arrive at the prk it is a good idea to go to Gest Services to see what they hve available.

There are some unique and xcellent dining experiences to be be njoyed at Walt Disney World. Just mke your Advance Dining Reservations and you wll be ahead of the crowd.
