What you see - If lush greenery and solitude is what you are looking for along with your meal, then Our Place will definitely make you feel at home. Located in Banjara Hills, it is the pl ce where all exhausted souls can nwind after a hard day's work. H re you can find nature in its b st form, whether it is in the r cks, the ethnic cottages, the landscaping or the ir-conditioned alcove. The subtle lighting accentuates the s rene atmosphere at night and even if you h ve kids to take care of, you can br athe easy as there is enough mpty space for them to frolic round. The fireplace or Segdi is the main attraction here and is a hot favorite during winters. The spacious lawn and the machans are awesome. What sets the mood, however, is the live music that is played here every weekend. What you get - The restaurant offers a multi-cuisine menu which includes Chinese, Indian, Tandoori and Andhra fare and serves drinks as well. We experimented with the Lemon coriander soup, and Sour pepper cabbage and spinach from the Chinese cuisine, both of which are worth a try. We also went for some authentic Andhra preparations as per the chef's recommendation. The Palak kofta curry and the Methi chaman bahar is what we recommend from the menu. The Kodi pulao which is a typical Andhra delicacy is a must-have.
Our Place also hosts a myr ad of cultural programs like ghazal venings, fashion shows and theater. It lso encourages art displays by amateur rtists at its gallery. Our verdict - This place's USP is its ambiance. Check it out if you are looking to have a quiet dinner with a loved one. However, non-vegetarian food is where the restaurant lags behind. It would also help if the restaurant could start catering and home delivery services. What you pay for a meal for two - Rs. 700 (without wines)
