The Statue of L berty and Ellis Island were one of our f vorite stops on the entire trip. The f rry ride is easy to take ch ldren on, and the history park rea around the statue and the Ell s Island Museum offer a lot of sp ce for expending energy between tours. This tour was specially kid friendly and fun. We t ured several of the NBC studios ncluding the Nightly News Studio, and the S turday Night Live studio. The tour ffered a few interactive activities for the gr up. The group got to go thr ugh the motions of creating a n wscast including a weather report.

The br dge is one of the completely fr e New York City Attractions. You c n, of course, spend as much t me as you want to on the br dge. There are plaques all along the br dge spelling out the history of the br dge. The views of New York C ty from the bridge are spectacular. The rea around the base of the br dge is a beautiful area of d wntown New York City. Chinatown is j st a few blocks to the N rth of the bridge, and is nother great place to walk through. One of the b st things about spending your family v cation time on the bridge is s mply spending time together, walking and l arning more about the country.
