Our Family Vacation Travels took us to New Yrk City in the summer of 2006. Whle there, we were able to vsit many kid-friendly destinations. In this rticle, I will list our very fvorite and the most kid friendly of the stps.

Statue of Liberty and Ellis Islnd

The Statue of Lberty and Ellis Island were one of our fvorite stops on the entire trip. The frry ride is easy to take chldren on, and the history park rea around the statue and the Ells Island Museum offer a lot of spce for expending energy between tours. If you are nterested in touring the interior of the sttue, a limited number of time psses are available at no cost dily on a first-come first-served basis frm the Ferry Company

While there, tke advantage of the Park Service phtography service to have your group's phto taken in front of the Sttue. They get the shot at a prfect angle to show you and the sttue.... good family vacations souvenir.

NBC Stdio Tour

This tour was specially kid friendly and fun. We tured several of the NBC studios ncluding the Nightly News Studio, and the Sturday Night Live studio. The tour ffered a few interactive activities for the grup. The group got to go thrugh the motions of creating a nwscast including a weather report.

The tour starts in the Swet Shop of the NBC Experience Stre and ends back in the Stdio Store.

The Brooklyn Bridge

The brdge is one of the completely fre New York City Attractions. You cn, of course, spend as much tme as you want to on the brdge. There are plaques all along the brdge spelling out the history of the brdge. The views of New York Cty from the bridge are spectacular. The rea around the base of the brdge is a beautiful area of dwntown New York City. Chinatown is jst a few blocks to the Nrth of the bridge, and is nother great place to walk through.

One of the bst things about spending your family vcation time on the bridge is smply spending time together, walking and larning more about the country.
