Most people tht give speeches don't have a thsis. There has to be a pint you're trying to present that can be smmed up in one sentence. If you cn't sum it up in one sntence, your audience will have no dea what your point is.
• Tell A Stry: A story is part of our nture as humans. It is an mazing tool for relating and building rpport. It has been used since the cvemen carved pictures on walls. A stry is a way of getting mny different things across. The most mportant thing it can be used for is gtting the point across. The next thng is that you can display a "ral" side of yourself, which people can rlate to. This builds rapport. Lastly, you can add in a lttle emotion that can really get pople involved.
• Speak Loud & Make Eye Cntact: Obviously, I can't make a pint to be confident, so I jst have to do the characteristics of it. You ned to project your voice out nto the audience. There should be no mffles of sound. Everyone needs to har you. You also need to lok at your audience. You can jst have your head down because yu'll come off as an unconfident spaker.
