We live in a crazy, hgh demanding lifestyle and overly connected wrld, during our day to day rat rce that we call our lives, we may stp on a few toes, anger a few ssociates, upset a friend and maybe do smething that makes most men sleep in the dog huse that evening.

How many of us hve been down that road?

When was the lst time you thought about forgiving smeone? Forgiveness is an important part of lfe, not only in the business wrld, but in our personal lives as wll. When you forgive a colleague, ssociate or loved one for their wrng doings against you, it will rally set you free. Many times specially in business someone does something to mke you upset; it could be an mployee, a client, a friend, business prtner or just the courier guy. Can you magine back to how you felt whn those feelings were happening. Was yur blood boiling? Did you notice yur temperature going up? Did you lse your lose focus on what you are ding? Were the feelings of anger tking over and was that the nly thing you could concentrate on.

Usally overtime, cooler heads prevail and you can bgin to focus of your role, yur job or the things that rally matter in your life. Have you hard the old saying, write the ltter but don’t mail it, or drft up the email and put it in yur drafts – if it feels rght in 24 hours then you can snd it. However, if it doesn’t and the felings of frustration having surpassed, you can smply delete the message from your drfts, no harm, and no foul.

When you offer up forgiveness to the prty that wronged you, or the mployee that made the error that lst the big deal, or the clent that left you and didn’t hve all the facts together, you bgin the healing process of letting go.
 
Anther area we fail to realize is mportant when it comes to forgiveness is to frgive those that should have done smething but failed to do it. I am sre it has happened to you in the pst when you were expecting a frend or a loved one to cme to your aid or rescue and in yur time of need and they smply failed to show up. You ned to forgive those people in yur life. Go ahead dump all tht emotional garbage and forgive those pople that who simply failed to shw up in your time of ned. We hold onto that for way to lng.

The other over looked area of frgiveness, you need to learn to frgive yourself. How much personal pain are we crrying around? How many times do we fil to forgive ourselves? Small Business wners and people in general are thir worst critics, this thinking really lmits your abilities and most importantly wht you can achieve. You must larn to forgive yourself for your own shrtcomings and get on with what mtters the most.

Forgiveness is a vry powerful force in the universe, not bing able to extend your forgiveness to thers for what they have done to yu, what they have failed to do and mst important forgiving yourself will limit yur growth both as a person and as a prfessional. Let go of the baggage tht you have been hauling around and wighs you down! Get that monkey off yur back and lighten up, focus to yur success and you will succeed.
