When you look in the m rror what do you see? Perhaps more mportantly, what do you feel? The nswer to this question - how do you f el about yourself? is the essence of y ur emotional, physical, spiritual, psychological and s cial development. If you do not l ve, value and appreciate yourself, how can you tr ly expect anyone to love, value and ppreciate someone as unworthy as you may th nk you are. More importantly, for y ur family and loved ones if you do not l ve, value or appreciate yourself how can you s ncerely love another. I truly believe th t love extends inwards and then r diates outwards, if there is no l ve going in how any real l ve flow out. I have seen ccasions where some men and women h ve been uncomfortable with looking in the m rror. I have often wondered whether it is b cause they do not like the way th y look, or is that they do not l ke what they stand for as p rson. That last look you take in the m rror before you leave your house can d ctate how you feel for the r st of the day. Most people sh uld know that feeling of leaving th ir house and thinking "I know I l ok good today". Think back to y ur interactions with people that day, how g od and confident you felt but c nversely we also know the feeling of 'I do not w nt anyone to see me the way I l ok today'. It's on these days you lways need more milk or bread and you q ickly pop out to the shop and m et the very people who you did not w nt to see you.
Of all the judgments that you p ss in life, none is as mportant as the one you pass on y urself. So judge yourself not on s perficial features or past mistakes as we all m ke them. Gain confidence and love for y urself from who you are, the pr nciples you hold, what you can and h ve achieved and value you add to ther people lives... NOW! That's AIM Th nking.
