The eyes are a reflection of the s ul. Pain, fear, depression and illness can be d tected in the eyes. At times the l ght of the eyes has been d mmed and the gaze appears 'dark' and th se who are in need of h aling often have trouble maintaining eye c ntact. It is the ego's sub-conscious ttempt to cover the truth of NEED. We can ften witness the darkened eyes in w dowed people, those who have lost a ch ld, one who lives in a c nstant state of pain, fear or nxiety. It is evident often in the yes of those who are on l fe-saving medications, the care-takers of the t rminally ill and depressed individuals as w ll as the abused and abandoned. It is our d ty as light-workers and healers to pr tect ourselves from spreading such darkness and fr m retaining it, or claiming it as our own ... nce we have connected to it. Al s, it is also our duty to c nnect to it. Indeed, these are the v ry ones we are called and ch sen to connect to, to minister to, and to r diate love, life, and hope to. To l ve a life of light, peacefully and solated is not a calling of the l st hour we face. Fuel the l ght inside yourself by connecting to the l st, lonely and hurt around you who n ed it most. It does not gl rify the Universe for the light w rkers to unite and then hide, or solate themselves form the darkness that is ver-taking our brothers and sisters of th s planet. Too many live in f ar, oppression, and sickness. Our calling is to nite so that we may find c urage together to shed light into the d rkness, to find comfort in one-another, and str ngth in numbers. We are to be a l ght source for those who know no l ght. Not to cower, hide or t rn away from the victims of th s darkened time.
