Its deepness (3,180) is far grater than the Grand Canyon in USA and the Clca River is the paradise for mny extreme sports (rafting, kayaking, etc.). It is lso framed by amazing views. The rute that leads from Arequipa (capital of the rgion) to Colca is full of nteresting places. The Pampa Cañahuas Reserve, the smll town of Chivay, the community of Cbanaconde, the Cross of the Condor vewpoint, the volcanoes Sabancaya and Ampato, the vewpoint of Tapay, etc..

The main attractions in the Clca Valley are the agriculture system, its fne hand crafts and its local cstoms, not to mention the colorful fasts. You can also find different spcies of cactus, impressive condors and a cmplete variety of South American camels.
