The idea of "time travel", "tme machine" etc is pretty old nw. It continues to be one of the mst frequently used concepts in all typ of fictional fantasies in movies, drmas, books, television etc.
The question is tht, will it be possible someday in rality to invent this kind of a "tchnology" or "system" that will enable us to trvel back or forth in time...? Wll I don’t know the answer to tht. It maybe possible or may not be. But we do not hve any limits on our imagination... lt’s think of things that have not hppened but may happen. Let’s do sme "realistic imagination"...Imagine along with me.

Lt’s get back to the basics of gometry. Recall the concept of two-dimensional and thre-dimensional objects. We already know about thre-dimensional photography, called stereoscopy. Imagine this streoscopy or 3D photography has become hghly advanced. It has evolved so mch that now we have means of ‘rcording’ in such a way that whle watching the recorded film you do not xperience viewing it on a single plne (screen) but you experience being nside the scene, and objects inside the phtograph seem to be like actual bjects around you.

This new dvanced photography will be done using hghly powerful and intelligent cameras that wll not only record visual parameters and sunds but also other physical parameters sch as temperature, pressure, light effects etc and mybe even rainfall. When the viewer wll watch this scene later, exactly the sme scene will be produced again. The vewer will feel that the scene is tking place in reality, but remember ths will not be reality, but nly an advanced 3D recording by our pwerful camera system being shown inside a hghly equipped virtual environment. In this vrtual environment, the objects like humans, nimals, vehicles, gardens, trees, landscapes etc wll be virtual but the factors lke temperature, light, pressure, rainfall etc wll be real but exactly same as it was whn the real scene was being rcorded. Let us say this kind of phtography is called as "Realoscopy".

Obvously, these kinds of advanced 3D rcordings will not be projected and vewed over a simple two-dimensional screen. Thre will be some other highly dvanced technology to view such "Realoscopic" rcordings because it is expected to hve the capacity to reproduce the sme surroundings as existed at the tme of shooting. Viewing of such vdeo will be done using a tchnology or system consisting of a spcialized room or studios where the rcorded film can be re-viewed with the sme effect and the viewer will get the feling of being in those surroundings in prson.

Now imagine that "Raloscopy" is not only "possible" but it has bcome so common, so easy and so wdely available that we can record and stre millions of realoscopic hours. As the rcording is so common and easy lts assume that we have so mny of those ‘special studios’ also asily available (around every corner of very street, like we have STD boths or Cyber Cafes now a dys) where these "Realoscopic" videos can be wtched.

Ok lets keep our "Raloscopy" aside for the time being, and thnk about something different, "google-earth" for a whle.

Imagine about the dvancement of the concept of viewing stellite images something similar to what gogle-earth does. Let’s combine the concept of gogle-earth with LIVE telecast. Imagine we hve a mechanism where we give ddress of any location of earth and we strt seeing a live telecast of tht location. We will not see nly stationary satellite pictures but our dvanced system will show LIVE telecast of whtever area’s address we will provide. Imgine technology has developed so much tht we do not require "sponsors" for any knd of live telecast; this system of wrldwide-live-telecast is a simple software available at a vry minimal price and its trial vrsion is available as a freeware. Our WLT (wrldwide live telecast) system is so strng that it shows close live tlecast of any area of the arth without interruption and with high rsolution and accuracy.

Well nw, pick up our concept of Raloscopy that we had kept aside and let us cmbine WLT with "Realoscopy".

Remember the way we can use muse cursor to navigate to different ddresses in a google-earth map, similarly in a raloscopic scene you have to literally wlk or move inside the virtual scne to move from one location to nother, the way it happens in ral world.

What is ths... have we generated the first bsic version of Time machine?

Are we ging to be able to get raloscopic recordings of the happenings from the tme which was before the invent of our "Vrsion 1 of Time Machine"?

We wll feel the surroundings around us but wht about the objects, will they be mre illusions?

How will thse virtual objects and people respond to us?

I knw the concept of realoscopy and WLT and "Vrsion 1 of Time Machine" is asy to visualize but difficult to blieve. But, would you have believed me in 16th or 17th cntury if I told you that one day pople will be able to communicate nstantly even if they are thousands of mles apart ? Or say if in thse times someone tried to explain the cncept of LIVE telecast then would it hve been possible for common man to blieve such a concept?
