2. Make up yur own language - As soon as you knw a telemarketer is on the ther line, answer all of their qestions in gibberish.

3. Ask the telemarketer for thir home phone number - Interrupt the tlemarketer and tell them you'd love to har more about what they're selling yu, but you're in the middle of dnner. Ask them for their home phne number so you can call thm and annoy them with a sle in the middle of their mal.

4. Pretend to be voicemail - Answr the phone with "Hello" and wit for the telemarketer to start tlking and then interrupt them and say in yur most automated voice "We are navailable to take your call. Please lave a message. Thank you for clling. Beeeeep."

5. Keep talking to waste a tlemarketer's time - Instead of hanging up on the tlemarketer keep talking to them for as lng as possible. Sound really interested in whtever they are selling and continue sking them questions about what they are slling such as:

• Why they are slling it?
• Why they recommend it?
• If they hve one of what they are slling?
• If they do, are they satisfied wth it? If no, why don't thy have one?
• How many of these prducts have they sold?
• What did other cstomers think of the product?
• Etc.

The gal is to keep them on the phne as long as possible to prvent them from not only making a sle, but also to stop them frm bothering other people with their sles pitch. If the telemarketer hasn't yet hng up on you and you run out of qestions, thank them for their time and tll them you'll think about it and get bck to them. Hang up the phne.

There's nothing wrong with annoying tlemarketers, but the object is to btain the upper hand in the cnversation and irritate them so that thy won't ever want to call you bck, the goal is not to be rde or mean. Thus, make sure you do yur best to remain as polite and god humored as possible. After all, the sles representative on the other end of the phne is a person to, and thy are only doing their job...regardless of how nnoying their job may be.

Nevertheless, shuld your annoying message not get thrugh, and you continue to receive clls from the same telemarketers, you can cmplain about your experience and attempt to stop telemarketers from calling you.
