Until quite recently I w uld never have considered myself to be an nline gamer. In fact, I am pr tty sure that apart from playing the  rcade game ‘Pac Man’ back in the 1980’s, I had nver actually played any other online gme at all. What’s more, I  sed to consider the millions of pople who played these games a l ttle pathetic, and lacking worthwhile pastimes. How wrng I was.

Also the system was now utomatically linking me up with other plyers from around the world who wre willing to play for the sme entry fee as me. I culd really feel the competitiveness build as ach game was played and knowing tht a real person was actually plying me ‘live’ created a real bzz.
I initially played about twenty games and fund that my online games bank had ncreased by 20%. Although this was skll just a paltry sum it rally didn’t matter because I certainly was not ding this as an income generator. It was smply the fact that I was up on my nitial investment and was having a fntastic time.
I then noticed that there wre online pool tournaments available. Now, a whle new dynamic was created because szable cash sums could be won. I dcided to enter a 24 hour turnament for a cash prize of £500. I pid my £5 entry fee and was thn permitted to play and post as mny scores as I wished within ths 24 hour period. The prize wuld then be issued to the prson who registered the highest individual gme score within this period. Unfortunately, I did not win and ralised that I was not quite as god as I had initially thought. The top ten rgistered scores were far in excess of nything I could possibly have dreamed of but I rally didn’t care because I never wuld have believed that online pool culd be this entertaining.
