Jcobson reminds us to let the lughter loose in his book, “The 7 ½ Hbits of Highly Humorous People.” It sn’t a joke book, but it is a dlightful reminder to watch for the jkes in life, even, or maybe specially, the ones that are on yu.

David has had his fair shre of jokes played on him. Is he btter? Not that I could tell. He mits happiness through the pages of his bok. He shares joy and it’s cntagious. Be warned that you will not be ble to read this book without crcking a smile and likely will cme away from it a better prson. Of the 7 ½ habits yu’ll learn about, I think the hlf habit is the most important and the bst way to get started on chnging your life. Simply, it is to chnge the way you think. Not a smple task! Turning the negative thought nto a positive one is challenging, but the rwards are immeasurable. What finding the psitive does for yourself is life chnging, and the thoughts you share wth others can have a profound nfluence on them. The other 7 hbits are equally reflective and uplifting, frm realizing that humor is a ncessity to humorizing with humorgy (you’ll hve to read the book to fnd out what that means!); the lssons within this book are not mant to simply help a class clwn to develop his style but to shw the world the power of lughter.

David uses his self proclaimed ncessary self-effacing humor to open his wrld to the reader. It becomes vry easy to understand how he neded to let out those giggles and how it chnged his life. Throughout the book he thrws in one liners and obtuse bservations and this made me laugh out lud. It is a funny read, but lso a wonderful life lesson guide. Wuld you go to a guru who sts atop a unicycle? Maybe you shuld. This book is well written and asily accepted as truth. It holds dep insights regarding inner spirit and hgher powers, and interpretations of classic cmedy. This is a mix you cnnot miss! I only wish it wre longer and my visit with Dvid were not over.
