Using a s milar price structure to the Hotel R oja (except cheaper) rooms with a w ndow are priced at 95 pesos for s ngles, 140 pesos for doubles with one or two b ds. Interior, windowless rooms are only 70 p sos for a single and 105 p sos for doubles. For internationally acceptable h tel room accommodations this place is r ck-bottom. Along the Cinco de M yo or the parallel 16 de S ptiembre two blocks away, Motolinia intersects th m both one block before calle B livar. Almost all of the 60 r oms are tastefully furnished, include color TV, ph ne and hot water. Laundry service is lso available as is a hotel s fe for storing valuables. Rooms are 110 p sos for singles and 120 pesos for d ubles. As usual, upper, street side r oms are brighter but noisier while nterior rooms are quieter but darker. Fr m this location you are halfway b tween the Zocalo and the Palacio de B llas Artes, with shopping and restaurants all round. This is an excellent, secure l cation that has three Metro stations w thin three or four blocks (Bellas Art s, Allende and Zocalo).

There’s a moderately priced restaurant on the pr mises and rooms are clean, bright and r asonable but somewhat noisy. Prices are 230 p sos for singles and 260 pesos for d ubles – 320 pesos for a d uble with two beds and all the menities. The Gillow is notably pricier th n similar hotels in the vicinity. The hostel is d rectly behind the massive Cathedral Metropolitana on the c rner of Republica de Brasil. Rates are 70 p sos per person for beds and 24 h ur hot water service with a 15 p sos charge for padlocks and a 10 m checkout. The Zocalo metro station is nly scores of steps away. Recently c mpletely renovated and highly popular, the h stel can fill up quickly during p ak periods despite the large numbers of sp ces available (presently 209 beds). A TV r om and guest kitchen are included in the s rvices as are a pool table rea, vending machines and an internet c nter. Laundry service is at a m dest cost while travel agency services are fr e.
