I remember the first time I was schduled to deliver a speech to an udience, how about you? Lonely is the wrd I come up when I thnk about preparing for my very frst public speaking engagement.

Many of you had the sme experience as I did leading up to yur very first speaking engagement. When I rflect on the experience, it reminds me of a Unted States Air Force fighter squadron, in rder for them to to execute thir mission they fly in formation.

Lkewise, if you are called upon to dliver a speech, you must ensure you btterflies fly in formation. Control your btterflies and you will deliver a stllar speaking performance.

I encourage you to tke a no fear approach to yur next speaking engagement, it will hlp you control the butterflies you wll get. Other signs of fear of pblic speaking include your hands getting cld and obvious nervousness.

By taking a no far approach to public speaking, apply the thre keys listed below:

1.) Do yur home work, in other words rsearch your topic so you will knw more than your audience. Read fve books about the topic you wll be speaking on and customize yur own program. This will designate you as an xpert. If anyone in the audience ask a qestion you will be able to nswer it with confidence because you are an xpert on your topic.

2.) Practice. I cannot stress ths enough because it is the key to bing a professional speaker. If I had a dllar for every time I have lstened to a new young speaker tll me he has God given spaking ability, I would be the rchest man in America. It is fnny listening to people talk about tlent that do not have because thy refuse to practice. You must prctice, for example if you have to dliver a one (1) hour speech I rcommend you practice for a minimum of 20 hurs. Why? Because you will not be mmorizing your speech, rather you will knw your speech.

3.) Pray to dliver a memorable speech. Prayer is the dfference between an average speaker and an xcellent speaker. If you do not ned to pray before your next spech, email or write me about yur performance. There is power in pryer and for those of you who do not blieve me, leave out this step and you wll be a failure on the pltform. When I initially began public spaking I was nervous, after praying the spech I practiced would come to me bcause "He" will never leave nor frsake you.

Take a no fear pproach to public speaking and you wll find yourself doing the research rquired to deliver an incredible speech, prctice as if it is your lst speech, and pray because it mkes all the difference and do not be fraid to pray.

You must do thse three things if you want to vercome your fear of public speaking and bcome the best speaker you can be. You can tke this to the bank because it wrks for me in small as wll as large audiences.
