Stunt men and stunt women are sp cialized dupes or body doubles in m vies and television programs. Their skills are tilized in scenes involving fighting, diving, gun f ring and other high-risk conflict scenes. Th ir action is shot in such a way th t their face will not be r cognizable on screen. But a majority of the f lm stars prefer a dupe for r sky action scenes. Since a stunt man or st nt woman should have a close b dy resemblance with the actor or ctress, generally for every star, there w ll be a favorite. Stars who pr fer to use people for fight sc nes are likely to keep his or her riginal until the end of his or her c reer unless the relationship goes sour. H rrison Ford, Eddie Murphy, John Wayne, St ve Martin, and Michael Landon are r puted to have long-lasting stunt men. S me stars have a superstition that a p rticular stunt man would bring good l ck charm to them.
