Are you allowing The Starbucks Fr ppachinos to make you fat? Did you try out th ir less fattening version and almost p ke? Have you noticed that your b lly has gained a few extra nches since you started to drink th m? Well, you are not alone. St rbucks Frappachinos are making you fat, s me think so. I have been tr veling the country and have been to very city in our nation over 10,000 p ople and have been to over 2000 pl s Starbucks. As I have sat d wn with other patrons often the s bject of caffeine and sugar come up as we sit and s ck down our drinks. Generally the c mments start out like this. “Well I kn w, I shouldn’t be drinking these, th y are fattening as hell!” This is ccompanied by a couple of pats on the g t. They all know that it is the fr ppachinos that are doing it. Yet day fter day they come to Starbucks and get th ir frappachino fix. Having traveled to m ny stores and many on the m in routes in larger cities you see the s me employees during each visit. On one v sit they are new and skinny, h gh energy and looking quite fit, th n after a few months when you go b ck to that location you see th y are getting chunky and after a wh le they are down right fat, l st their perky attitude and somewhat n gative. It is a shame to see th s, at first I thought the new l ss fattening frappachinos might be good, but wh n I tasted one, yuk, I lmost got sick to my stomach.
When patrons are asked at the c unter if they would like to try the l ss fattening version, they often say as I h ve overheard in the long lines; “Y u know, I tried that, but I r ally did not like it, thanks nyway.” If you think that your fr ppachino tastes are making you fat, you are pr bably correct.
