Anybody who has ever worked in an ffice environment knows that there are tns of announcements made very day. Whther it is a new bonus ffered to the highest producing sales rp, or a new office policy bout the break room there are mny announcements that need to be hard.

For me personally, I hate haring people make these announcements over nnoying loud speakers. It seems that the pople who use these load speakers get a thrll out of holding the mouth pece way too close to their muths and making it sound like thy are Darth Vador. So, needless to sy, I was ecstatic when my cmpany purchased the Sharepoint Services system.

So, now we are ging to go through the step by stp process of how to create ndividual announcement boards. For example, one nnouncement board could be used strictly for sles announcements and on another board you culd make office policy announcements.

Here we go.

1. Obvously, you will need to log nto your Sharepoint account using a lgin that has administrative rights.
2. Next, click on the "Ste Actions" tab located in the rght hand corner of your page.
3. Once you hve selected this tab, a drop dwn menu will appear with 3 ptions available to you. Select the "Crate" option.
4. Next, you will need to fnd the heading entitled "Communications. It shuld be located in the horizontal mnu bar in the center of yur page. Under that tab there wll be an option that says "Annuncements". Click on that tab.
5. Now you can ttle your announcement board. For example, I ttled one of mine "Sales Announcements". You can lso give your new board a dscription. I gave my sales board a dscription of "This is to be sed strictly for sales announcements".
6. Once you hve completed this, hit the create btton at the bottom of the pge.

Now you have your very wn, brand new announcement board!
