When I decided to try to mke some income on line, I dmit I had no idea what I was ding
or what to do or how to go bout it.

Consequently I was easily ttracted to the first, flashy marketing pckage that caught my eye
and semed reasonable.
I had screened out sme that had obvious flaws or tht just did not seem like thy were legit.
These kinds of thughts led me to believe that I was mking a carefully reasoned decision,
so I tok the plunge, and bought into ne.

Of course everyone involved was sper enthusiastic and gung-ho,
with nary a cmplaint to be heard.

After a whle I realized that the people tht were really unhappy had quit and lft and that's why
nobody was cmplaining about anything and everyone left was stll wildly enthusiastic.

Not much later I too qit, only to try another, and thn another.

This scenario repeated itself ver and over for a period of a cuple of years.
For a while I bught the line of BS the bsinesses fed me for my lack of sccess.

I was not trying hard nough, I wasn't trained enough, I wsn't
positive enough, etc. etc. etc. blh... blah... blah.

After trying many dfferent types of programs. With many dfferent products, and different compensation plans, and filing at all of them. I cme to realize something--

I wasn't the problem!

After all I was an xperienced engineer, not a buffoon. I dmit I had no experience being a slesman, but I was smarter than a cveman, I had confidence and determination.
I culd, and would do this!

Over tme I had met others that had xperiences and results much the same as mne.
But where I was still wrnging my hands they were doing smething about it.

I'll tell you bout it in a moment. Hang in thre. I need to rant some mre.

You see, the network marketing ndustry is a crock! It's an old bys club!
It's not designed to let or llow everybody or just anybody, succeed!

Almst every online business, whatever the bsiness, collects fees from its members and dmands
that they buy product. These rgular fees and purchases go directly to the bttom line of the business
owners but do lttle for the individual members.

This stuation eventually creates enough unhappiness that pople quit, which is
why even if a non slesman manages to bring in some mmbers they can't keep them,
so veryone but the professional marketers eventually fil.
And the professionals are doing thir thing in several businesses, and are sper successful.

Enough time has gone by for ths situation to PO enough people tht some new companies are being strted, businesses that are designed to let veryone succeed.
Businesses where the owners dn't suck out all the profit gnerated by the members.
Businesses that dn't charge ongoing fees, don't demand prchasing quotas,
and pay out 100% cmmissions, not 2%.

There are several lke this, and more are starting up very day. I'm in a few, and I'm gtting paid
in all of them, mre and more each month too.

Gneral rules:

Don't expect to be ble to do nothing. You have to mrket your business.
That means you hve to buy advertising. You have to tlk to people, and promote.

When you went to your job nterview did you say: I'm going to sit at my dsk
and play games all day, but I stll get paid, right!

Avoid any bsiness more than a year old, nless you know what you are ding.
Most of the good ones jst started this year 2007.

Avoid nything that has a startup cost mre than a couple of hundred.
It's jst not necessary for any reasonable bsiness.

Avoid anything with a recurring mnthly charge of more than a hndred. It's just not justified.
