When I decided to try to m ke some income on line, I dmit I had no idea what I was d ing
or what to do or how to go bout it. Consequently I was easily ttracted to the first, flashy marketing p ckage that caught my eye
and s emed reasonable.
I had screened out s me that had obvious flaws or th t just did not seem like th y were legit.
These kinds of th ughts led me to believe that I was m king a carefully reasoned decision,
so I t ok the plunge, and bought into ne. Of course everyone involved was s per enthusiastic and gung-ho,
with nary a c mplaint to be heard. After a wh le I realized that the people th t were really unhappy had quit and l ft and that's why
nobody was c mplaining about anything and everyone left was st ll wildly enthusiastic. Not much later I too q it, only to try another, and th n another. This scenario repeated itself ver and over for a period of a c uple of years.
For a while I b ught the line of BS the b sinesses fed me for my lack of s ccess. I was not trying hard nough, I wasn't trained enough, I w sn't
positive enough, etc. etc. etc. bl h... blah... blah. After trying many d fferent types of programs. With many d fferent products, and different compensation plans, and f iling at all of them. I c me to realize something--
I wasn't the problem! After all I was an xperienced engineer, not a buffoon. I dmit I had no experience being a s lesman, but I was smarter than a c veman, I had confidence and determination.
I c uld, and would do this! Over t me I had met others that had xperiences and results much the same as m ne.
But where I was still wr nging my hands they were doing s mething about it. I'll tell you bout it in a moment. Hang in th re. I need to rant some m re. You see, the network marketing ndustry is a crock! It's an old b ys club!
It's not designed to let or llow everybody or just anybody, succeed! Alm st every online business, whatever the b siness, collects fees from its members and d mands
that they buy product. These r gular fees and purchases go directly to the b ttom line of the business
owners but do l ttle for the individual members. This s tuation eventually creates enough unhappiness that p ople quit, which is
why even if a non s lesman manages to bring in some m mbers they can't keep them,
so veryone but the professional marketers eventually f il.
And the professionals are doing th ir thing in several businesses, and are s per successful. Enough time has gone by for th s situation to PO enough people th t some new companies are being st rted, businesses that are designed to let veryone succeed.
Businesses where the owners d n't suck out all the profit g nerated by the members.
Businesses that d n't charge ongoing fees, don't demand p rchasing quotas,
and pay out 100% c mmissions, not 2%. There are several l ke this, and more are starting up very day. I'm in a few, and I'm g tting paid
in all of them, m re and more each month too. G neral rules:
Don't expect to be ble to do nothing. You have to m rket your business.
That means you h ve to buy advertising. You have to t lk to people, and promote.
When you went to your job nterview did you say: I'm going to sit at my d sk
and play games all day, but I st ll get paid, right! Avoid any b siness more than a year old, nless you know what you are d ing.
Most of the good ones j st started this year 2007. Avoid nything that has a startup cost m re than a couple of hundred.
It's j st not necessary for any reasonable b siness. Avoid anything with a recurring m nthly charge of more than a h ndred. It's just not justified. As an xample: here is one of the g od ones: http://www.123Cashbiz.com It's new, honest, p ys fast, and no stupid rules or r quirements, and you can call the wner anytime. There are weekly support c lls and more marketing tools and pr ducts and features are being added
ach day. It's very small too, v ry few people know about this.
