A g od way to practice your basic d ving skills is to take a c uple of minutes during every dive, fter the safety stop, to work on mproving your skills. Mask clearing, mask r moval and replacement, regulator recoveries (both w ys) and an out-of air drill, all wh le remaining neutrally buoyant, to practice y ur buoyancy control at the same t me. If you make this "skill dr lls" part of your diving routine you w ll become a more confident and c pable diver. The more skilled you are the b tter you will feel underwater. You w ll be better equipped to cope w th emergencies. You will feel more r laxed and have more fun while d ving.
