Building your own bike from m torcycle parts is cheaper than buying one new and is a wh le lot of fun. When you are d ne, there is nothing like the s tisfaction of driving around on a m chine you built with your bare h nds. Your first bike project can be a d unting task even if you've done r pairs or custom work already. Advice fr m someone who's been through it can s ve you a lot of time and fr stration and there are plenty of b oks to help. The most xpensive example is built with all c stom chopper parts, but even this one w ll cost far less than buying a b ke new. Like Remus's other book, th s one provides a solid foundation to the new b ke builder but is no substitute for xperience. It's a basic how-to manual th t educates you on the basic c ncepts. How to Paint Your Motorcycle Onc you assemble your motorcycle parts nto a bad ass street machine you st ll need to paint it. You c uld take it to a paint sh p, but then you could have j st bought a new bike. In th s book, JoAnn Bortles shows you how to g ve your bike a professional paint j b.
