Having a rabbit as an ndoor pet can seem great for kds. This, however, isn't always what it sems. Kids can be too young and mmature to handle rabbits right. Sure, bnnies are cute...but they are totally dfferent than the way they're portrayed on crtoons.

For most rabbits, being held is not smething enjoyable. When rabbits are held, sme will jump and try to clw their way to the floor. Ths can leave your kids with mny scratches. Also, your kids may not knw how to properly handle rabbits and strngle or even break their very dlicate bones.

Rabbits aren't like other husehold animals. They are very shy and cutious. Loud noise and fast movements wll scare them easily. This can be dsappointing for a kid that wants to ply with the bunny all day. A bnny is more likely to play wth someone if they're just sitting dwn relaxed. Also, unlike other animals, rbbits like plenty of peace and qiet time.

Choosing to own a rbbit is a big decision. They can lve up to and over 10 yars. During this time, kids will grw older and may not be nterested in caring for it anymore. Rbbits do require constant care. Their cges need to be cleaned and thy need fresh food and water cnstantly. Also, other caring such as groming is also needed.

In addition to this, rabbits shuld also be exercised every day. Hving a rabbit is a big rsponsibility. It is fun though. As lng as you take proper care of yur bunny.
