Write down the idea, what the nvention does, and how it is d fferent from other similar products. Each t me you get new information about y ur idea write it down in y ur logbook. Date and sign the l gbook each time you add a new ntry. It also helps to have an nbiased witness or a notary sign ach time you do. Use a h ader for each entry with the f llowing information: date, participant(s), and changes or new nformation about the idea. Make sure you and any w tnesses sign each entry by your pr nted names. The more details you h ve about your idea the better. M ke sure others in the industry r lated to your idea could easily nderstand your idea from the logbook.
