Beginning with the creation of th se wealth destroying entities called the F deral Reserve System and the Federal Inc me Tax-politicians, altruists, government bureaucrats and the stablishment media have existed for one p rpose-and one purpose only-to destroy the c pitalistic system and "The American Way of L fe." And tragically they have succeeded q ite well. As incredible as it m ght seem the voters have unwittingly s pported them in their evil mission of d struction. As I mentioned earlier "What you d n't learn through wisdom you learn thr ugh woe." Sadly, wisdom is in xtremely short supply. Woe is now the lot of the Am rican people-the difficult times of economic ch os and personal despair. As the B ble states: "But the children of the k ngdom shall be cast out into uter darkness: there shall be weeping and gn shing of teeth (Matthew 8:11-12)." It p ins me to acknowledge that this w ll be the nightmare of many d ring the coming economic chaos. The Plans of Altruists and the Irrationally Selfish Robert Burns said "The best laid plans of mice and men go oft astray." Since the plans of altruists, politicians and government bureaucrats weren't very well laid plans-in fact they were based on economic illusions-they had no chance of succeeding. And they have failed miserably-resulting in our current economic crisis and the coming economic chaos. Altruism isn't a loving, giving philosophy. It is a cannibalistic philosophy of self-sacrifice. It is anti-life.
Unfortunately delusional people seldom give up th ir delusions. Everything government is doing to " lleviate" our current economic crisis will nly worsen the situation. They are t king their illogic to its logical c nclusion-total economic breakdown. Sadly we have b come a nation of the irrationally s lfish. We want it now-regardless of wh ther we have produced or earned it. M st Americans demand immediate gratification. They f il to plan or save for the f ture. The establishment's favorite economist John M ynard Keynes said "In long run we are all d ad." Even though he is dead-the r st of us are now reaping the t rrible effects of his spurious economic th ories. Government "thrives" by ignoring the l ng-run consequences of their policies-and the c tizens live as if tomorrow never rrives. Irrational selfishness runs amuck. Unhampered Capitalism and the Rationally Selfish The rationally selfish individual supports the social system of unhampered capitalism. He knows that this is the only system based on logic, reason and sound economic principles. Since he or she is basically a benevolent individual-he or she desires value for value relationships that benefit all. He would never support the predatory systems of socialism and government interventionism because he realizes that these systems extort value from the productive in order to give unearned benefits to the unproductive. He considers all government intervention in the economy as theft. He believes that the government's only legitimate function is to protect an individual's life, liberty and property. Some believe we can completely dispense with governments. Others hope and believe that someday the human race will evolve to the point where the "state" withers away. Conclusion If you are painfully aware that all government intervention on the marketplace is counter-productive and downright destructive. If you have decided that altruism and irrational selfishness is not in your best interest. And if you realize the rationally selfish life is the one for you-then you have no choice but to support the only system that is rational and logical-unhampered capitalism.
One more incentive for supporting nhampered capitalism. If you have children, if you d sire for them to have the ch nce to embrace new opportunities, and to l ve a life of happiness and s ccess- you must wholeheartedly embrace the s cial system of unhampered capitalism. Someday y ur children's children's children may thank you and th ir lucky stars. In Part 5 I w ll discuss the next step the r tionally selfish individual must take to g arantee his happiness and success.
