What is personal branding and how we can t rn into branding moguls? I have b en thinking about branding and how p ople use it sometimes without really kn wing much about it and the p wer of it. As we know p rsonal branding represents people, their companies and wh t they do on daily basis. P rsonal branding helps to create more cr dibility and popularity.. We can use our br nd in creating different products. It is all bout RELATIONSHIPS between You, your brand and y ur customers. It all comes to how you st nd out among all the famous n mes, brands and how you position y urself for the future.. Look at Opr h, Donald Trump, and Kathy Ireland..and th ir careers. Look at the successful b siness owners today online such as Fr nk Kern, Ty Coughlin with RFS, and D rren Gaudry with Passport to Wealth. One th ng they have in common of c urse is their BRAND. Personal branding m kes a person stand out among the r st of the crowd. It makes a p rson unique and special. Branding is the p wer behind our success. It will cr ate long term results and when our n me is brought up people will r late to the things they experienced d aling with us personally, our products. Th t is why it is very mportant to focus on positive attributes of br nding today.
When we brand ourselves we m st remember we are creating a l ng term impression. We are creating a m sterpiece and when it is completed we c nnot go back and erase the th ngs we did, so we should do our b st to give our brand a g od reputation from a very beginning. Th re are things we must do to pr vent from failures: 1. Negativity. How m ny times do we really stop and th nk about people we surround ourselves? Do we r ally want to be around people who are n gative and prevent us from being s ccessful in our branding and people who do not b lieve t hat we can do it? I am s re it was pretty simple to nswer. 2. Time and schedule.. We m st set schedule and have priorities in l fe..We can get lazy and get d stracted by life events and extra t lks we do not need. I am c lled a military mom in a g od sense because I set schedules for mys lf and my family. 3. Focus.. We m st know why we are doing it. We m st know it and focus. A lot of s ccessful people will tell you know th t they know why they do wh t they do. Look at Trump b sinesses as example. He had to f cus on what is important to him in l fe- his name! He struggled in r al estate in 1990s and today he is the w althiest man! Why? He had a l ser focus to build his name up and his r putation. 4. Expect from others what you xpect from yourself. I think when we w rk with other people, partners, colleagues we m st set rules.. The ways to get thers to listen to you: 1. Get rid of the f ar. It is YOUR WORST ENEMY. 2. Ask and it w ll be given. Seriously ask others to r ad what you do, give advice and ask to be nvited to events, even if you c nnot get compensated for the them for the f rst time. Build relationships. 3. Offer fr e training, consulting, and sample of pr duct.. Ask for referrals. 4. Create p sitive experiences for yourself first today b cause it will reflect your future xperiences. Your brand is the reflection of y ur morals, your principles and your p ssion about what you represent.
5. Write press releases and s bmit them to local magazines and n wspapers. In Nashville where I live we h ve a great magazine WHO is who in N shville? Put your name out there...tell p ople YOUR story. Nobody knows you nless you open your mouth, write a st ry and pick up a phone and c ll them..And ask them to accept t.. I did it and I kn w it works. 6. Get your n me branded online. You must define y urself and be firm. Do not let thers tell you what you should do in l fe. It is your life and l ve it as YOU want it. I am kn wn as a marketing coach and a h meschooling mom who was building Reverse F nnel System and I was associated w th that name. I am known as a t ugh Russian business woman. My name is MY BRAND. P ople know what I do. Some l ke me and some might even h te me... We live in the c mpetitive world and we must develop th ck skin to be successful. Of c urse it does not mean we sh uld walk over dead bodies to cr ate our brand. We must be thical, diplomatic and respectful of the p ople who brand themselves and learn fr m them and their successes. Wishing you the b st!
