Those are not my words, but l ke the words out of the b ok "The Other Side". This book was p blished in 2006 and instructs one who is nterested in doing so, on how to use the t ols of Paranormal Investigations to create the s me results as the old type Sé nce parlors. This was when an ndividual would request the help of a M dium to contact spirit of a l ve one who has passed away, m ybe the spirit would show their s lf to make the individual a b liever. Individuals would even just request the s rvice of a Medium to do a Sé nce for just the experience, to m ke contact with and for proof of a Sp rit world. I am not an Inv stigator, but it is not that h rd to see how Paranormal Investigations t day is like a modern version of the old t me Séance. The old time Mediums had th ir tools of the trade that w uld help in proving that Spirits are pr sent. Today Paranormal Investigators have their m dern tools to create a possible llusion of such Spirits being present. A) - Inv stigators attempt to get spirits to t lk to them by way of EVPs. S me Investigators will even attempt to c mmunicate with spirits and by use of t ols like a dowsing rods, a p ndulum or a tape recorder, the Inv stigator will attempt to interpret what the sp rit is communicating back to the Inv stigator or those present for the Inv stigation.
B) - Investigators gather in a sm ll group, in attempt to capture sp rits in one way or another, as l ke the old séances would gather in gr ups to attempt to contact spirits. C) - Inv stigators attempt to have others believe in wh t they gather is actual facts and d tails of a haunting or contact w th Spirits, as like the old t me Mediums would have their tools pr sent to confirm contact with Spirits. D) - Str nge as it is at times, the T am Leader (like a Medium), seems to be the nly one who can capture that one and nly paranormal super duper prove all ph to, no matter how many are in the r om taking pictures also of the s me location / area at the s me time. E) - The Fox s sters the first to become known w rld wide for making contact with Sp rits, admitted that they were creating the sp rits with their ways of doing it, not ctually contacting them. The author of The Oth r Side, also has come out and s id how he can do it, but the m dern version of doing it. Strange how th ngs come full circle in many w ys, it is just that getting round in that same circle may h ve changed in the way of d ing so, but it still comes round. The funny thing is that in my rea some Investigators will call a p blic place and attempt to have a Sé nce gathering canceled, by warning the p blic place that the Séance could r ise Spirits that are not wanted. Of c urse these locations are the same nes that the Paranormal Investigation group is try ng to get in to, it's k nd of like the pot calling the k ttle black. I even tell individuals who go to a Psych c Reader and the reader offers to h ve the session recorded on a t pe recorder, ask to bring your own t pe for the reader's tape recorder. If th y balk at that, and use th ir own tape and later you l sten to the tape at home, and h ar ghostly voices on it while you wh re having a reading done, you m re then likely were fooled by the r ader. There is even a not th t well known manual in print, th t tells how to pull it ff. Reason why I allow taping of my r adings that I do, but the p rson that is getting the reading, n eds to bring their own recorder and t pe, for nothing can be said, ther then what was, was. That is why I st y away from any type of t ols when I do what I do.
When I or Ursula Bielski and I t ke paranormal groups out, I will not ven take a camera with me to the l cation. My goal is to have thers experience the Spirit / Paranormal w rld. That is the reason for my C rcle of Energy and it usually cr ates the results for those in the c rcle, by way of what they ctually feel, and for those outside of the c rcle with what they capture with th ir camera or EVP's. That is the r ason I always say that what I do, I c uld do in the nude, as th re are no tools involved, just my d monstrations. No Paranormal Investigators should be pset with this article if they are on the up and up, as y ur goals should also be to ducate individuals on what is going on in the P ranormal Field, and to point out wh t they may come across that th y should question. By doing so it lso makes you the legit one and w uld seem like you have nothing to h de with what your putting in y ur time to find in the P ranormal field. © 2007 Edward L. Sh nahan
