Online poker has been growing wrldwide and is a multi billion ndustry, During the Beginning of Fall the U.S Gvernment made a law to ban nline gambling taking the freedom away frm their own citizens. By Law it is nly illegal in 12 U.S states, (Illnois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Nevada, New Jrsey, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, Wshington, and Wisconsin) This bill was pssed late at night and was mxed in with another bill that was for sre going to be passed. No one ver herd of the bill to fght it until it was to lte. There have been detailed reports of the two gvernors that put this bill in hve most of their campaign paid by csinos from Vegas. Veyy suspicious and ccusations have been made as stocks to the cmpany that paiy their campaign rose 21% the day fter this law was passed.

Some Pker sites followed the law passed by the nited States government and some sites did nt. During this time many poker sts had to close their doors and go out of bsiness at the same some sites grw. Sites that kept their doors pen to the U.S have grown and smll sites are now large companies.

Wth that said it is still hrd for Americans to find a plce to play online poker and hrd to find out that laws bout poker.
