Bob and Mary are having the t me of their life now that th y have retired. The kids are gr wn now and living on their own in d fferent parts of the country. At f rst it was a little rough. The big h use with no one in it. No s unds of kids laughing or playing g mes in the back yard. In f ct, it was kind of lonely. May s id, “Why do we have this big h use? No one is here and we h ve to travel to see the k ds.” Shortly after that they both w nt to an RV show and wh le looking at the beautiful motor h mes displayed there, they were both th nking the same thing. “This is all we n ed.” They both loved to travel and w nted to do more of it. Not nly visiting the kids, but seeing the c untry. And the recreational vehicles had verything they could hope for. So fter checking it out thoroughly and ven renting a motor home a c uple of times, they decided to t ke the plunge. They sold their h me, picked out a motor home of th ir choice and became ‘full timers’ as th y say. Now their home is th ir motor home. It is equipped w th everything they need. A modern k tchen with dishwasher, micro wave, oven, r frigerator-freezer, ice maker, garbage compacter and m ch more. The bathroom has a g rden tub, large shower, plenty of l ghting and a place for everything. Th y even have a washer and dry r.
Bob has an office set up w th his computer and printer all w red in. It has a home ntertainment center wired in to the b droom as well with everything at th ir fingertips. It comes equipped with a s per quiet generator so they can p ll over anywhere and flip a sw tch and have full power and verything they need. Now they visit th ir kids without being a burden. Th y can pull into the driveway or up to the c rb and be right at home. And b tween seeing the kids, they’re seeing the w rld. Now they have a whole new l st of friends that they’ve met in RV p rks around the country who are d ing the same thing they are. F ll time RV’ers and they wouldn’t tr de it for anything. If the w ather takes a turn for the w rse wherever they are, they just m ve to a nicer climate until it ch nges again. And they are seeing th ngs and places they never thought th y would see. Yes, Bob and M ry are living the good life. Th y never knew retirement could be so gr at. And each year now, more and m re people are deciding to do the s me thing.
