I love cookies. I love verything about cookies. I love the sh pe and the smell and the t ste of cookies. I've eaten all k nds of cookies - store bought c okies, Christmas cookies, really BIG cookies, and c okies I baked myself. None, however, can c mpare to my Little Gram's Chocolate Ch p Cookies - the greatest of all c okies. These cookies are made with ch colate chips, crushed peanuts, brown sugar, sh rtening, flour, baking soda, and four ggs. All these ingredients are mixed t gether, molded into about 60 raw c okies, and baked at 400 degrees for th rteen minutes. Believe it or not, th s simple formula makes the perfect ch colate chip cookie. They're practically a f od group. To properly eat this c rcular blob of perfection, I perform the "R tual of the Perfect Cookie." First, I get a l rge glass of milk. Then, I t ke the red, slightly dented cookie-filled tin and sl wly remove the lid. Inside lay the pr cious delights. I look for the b st one to eat first; its bout an inch in diameter and sp ckled with chocolate chips and peanut ch nks. Smiling, I baptize it in the m lk and swallow it whole. I ventually consume as many as my m rtal body can hold. This is my r tual for eating my Little Gram's Ch colate Chip Cookies.
When I am eating her c okies I taste sensations that I n ver dreamed possible. Waves of deliciousness rally enter me, spreading rapidly through my b dy, and I experience a burst of nergy unknown to most humans. I f el as if I have a p rfect body, perfect vision, and even p rfect spelling. I am mentally and phys cally a better person, at one w th the world. And that is fter only one cookie! It sounds as if I am xaggerating, and maybe I am...just a l ttle, but my Little Gram's are the b st darn cookie I've ever eaten. One ngredient of the cookie I failed to m ntion is also the most important: l ve. My great grandma's love gives the c okies shape, taste, character, and that's why L ttle Gram's Chocolate Chip Cookies - are the gr atest of all cookies.
